![]() Without Try & Decide it would have taken me literally THOUSANDS of hours to try out the thousands of different software programs - whereas with Try & Decide it took me approximately 30 to 40 hours (instead of thousands of hours).Īcronis - PLEASE bring back the Try & Decide feature - or at least come out with a totally seperate program that allows a person to do a Try & Decide for software testing. Whereas with a FULL IMAGE backup which is the only kind I do - it would take me more than an hour to recover an image just for trying out 1 new software for a few minutes. If not - just a quick reboot of my PC and back in business in about 1 minute. Seeing how I have tried out thousands of different software programs and only liked 1% of them - with "Try & Decide" I could check out a program for a while and see if I liked it. ![]() Someone on another forum told me "well - all you have to do is go back to a previous image if you have problems or want to try out different software programs". ![]() I will move to another backup/imaging program.Īcronis lost my business of any future upgrades when they took "Try & Decide" out of the program starting with ATIH 2015. I hope to be one of them if and when I upgrade to Win 10 :)Īs for upgrading to ATIH 2015 or 2016 for Windows 10 - that it isn't going to happen for me. Good to hear that some are having no problems with ATIH 2014 on Windows 10. However - if you did a clean install of Win 10 instead of downloading and installing it on top of your previous - than you are stuck reformatting back to the previous version of Windows manually. It's something that's built into Win 10 that will restore your OS to the previous Windows version. He doesn't use ATIH 2014 that I know of but none the less - ATHI 2014 should work fine in Windows 10 if you perhaps wait until more of the bugs are worked out of it.Īs for me - I won't be grabbing the free Win 10 upgrade until about 1 year from now just before the free upgrade expires.Īlso from what I understand - you have 30 days from the day you installed Win 10 to go back in time to whatever your previous Windows version was. On another discussion board I know of a master programmer that said that when he switched over to Windows 10 - that ALL his programs that worked in Windows 7 also worked just fine in Windows 10. I may very well be that there are still plenty of bugs in Windows 10 which perhaps cause problems for ATIH 2014 on Windows 10. It may not be that ATIH 2014 isn't compatible with Windows 10. ![]()
